Die Antwoord is a brand new South African band. They make futuristic chav ninja rap, to phat beats and dolops of no holds barred chutzpah. Comparison with those 80’s scorpion BMX bicycles with those curved handlebars would not be amiss.
So, who is Die Antwoord?
Die Antwoord are lead rapper NINJA (ex Max Normal), YO-LANDI VI$$ER en DJ HI-TEK. JACK PAROW gooi saam met ons elke nou en dan. (Jack Parow joins in now and again.)
Like Kameraad Mhambi Die Antwoord has a soft spot for coloureds. So much so that they “moved to the Cape”. Daar is n poes klomp coloureds innie Kaap, NINJA told WatKykJy. And he added:

The Antwoord sings about poverty, drugs, crime and girls. But are they sufficiently politically conscious? Or are they just part of the co-option of the proletariat by bourgeois consumerism – like that sell out 50 Cent?
WatKykJy tried to plumb their political depth.
