I was at game and was 12yrs old at that time. My Brother inlaw,Hennie Shields[centre] & Turkey Shields[prop] of our Strand community played that day and Hennie also ended Alan Old's rugby career that day with a massive tackle resulting in broken leg. Those rugga buggers just don't know when to stop. Sometimes I am on a bus in London and i wish I could call a "99" ;) I didn't know the Lions played the coloured team, that is very interesting.
