I have to admit I remember almost nothing about the TRC. I was a teenager living in my own little bubble. Once I read Country of my skull, I could not believe what went on and what was uncovered that I did not know about. It is quite a shameful feeling to be one of the ones who lived in blissful ignorance while terrible things happened. Thank you for telling your story.
